This Pair of Polychrome and Parcel Gilt Torchieres are in Excellent Condition Continental, c. second half of the 19th century. Each highly sculptural Baroque Revival torchiere features a column of spiraling foliage crowned by a six arm candelabra. Each arm, as well as the crown of the candelabra has a metal candle prick. The base is composed of a motif of dolphin monopodia ended in a tripod of hairy paw feet. Measuring 86” H; top 22.5” Dia.; base 28.5” W x 22.5” D, Serious Inquiries are Welcome!
