This Fantastic Empire Style Rouge Royal Marble Mantle Clock, c. late 19th century is in perfect working order. Signed Michelant à Laligant Paris in the inside back. Raised on well chased bronze bracket feet. The marble face with recessed and gilt roman numerals surrounded by a band of gilt ormolu and covered by a beveled bezel with beaded border. All crowned by an empire style eagle in flight. Measuring 6 1/2” D x 10 1/2” W x10 3/4” H the clock is a stellar addition to any collection or design.
