This Serene Landscape Oil on Canvas, signed E. Boehm for Eduard Boehm (1830 - 1890), Fabulous, Well Listed, Highly Collected Austrian Artist. Featuring Gorgeous Color, Brilliant Light, Fine Detail and a Calming Focus. The Painting is in the Original Giltwood Frame and has had minor repairs on the back as pictured. This Amazing Oil on Canvas, "Woman with Lyre" is in Excellent Condition, Alfred Seifert, (1850 - 1901). This Czechoslovakian Artist born in Horovic, 1850, first formal training was with landscape painter Alois Kimig (1840-1911) in Prague. Later he studied with portrait and genre painter Michael Echter (1812-1879) at the Academy in Munich where he developed his very distinct style of genre painting, evolving to his re-known style of a portrait painter of genre scenes depicting lovely women and children. Later commissioned for Famous portraits including Philippene Welser at the Gallery de Peinture de Prague. Measuring 22" x 15" canvas alone, 34" x 27" in the Beautiful Probable Original Frame.
