| This Amazing Oil on Canvas, "Woman with Lyre" is in Excellent Condition, Alfred Seifert, (1850 - 1901). This Czechoslovakian Artist born in Horovic, 1850, first formal training was with landscape painter Alois Kimig (1840-1911) in Prague. Later he studied with portrait and genre painter Michael Echter (1812-1879) at the Academy in Munich where he developed his very distinct style of genre painting, evolving to his re-known style of a portrait painter of genre scenes depicting lovely women and children. Later commissioned for Famous portraits including Philippene Welser at the Gallery de Peinture de Prague. Measuring 22" x 15" canvas alone, 34" x 27" in the Beautiful Probable Original Frame.
